30 years after the assassination of President Kennedy, Congress enacted the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, signed by President George H.W. Bush. The Act mandated that all assassination-related material be housed in a single collection in the National Archives and Records Administration. The resulting collection consists of more than 5 million pages of assassination-related records, photographs, motion pictures, sound recordings and artifacts. Through this National Archives website, much of the collection is now available online. This website contains an unmatched amount of primary source information for students and teachers interested in learning more about the Kennedy assassination. Also included are the reports of the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations.
